1965 Mustang Fastback update 4
So I haven't posted here in a while... me and Dad got a few more things done on the Mustang before he died, and here's a quick pictorial update! First up, boy did Dad go a little crazy on the power plant... race fuel only, naturally aspirated 500+ wheel horsepower 302. Custom headers, heads the guy had several hundred hours in custom porting work on, etc. Really amazing stuff that's far too crazy for a street car... not sure what Dad was thinking!!

Well, since Dad went a bit crazy with the motor... he felt the need to beef up the frame a bit...
More pictures of the DUAL frame bars running the length of the center of the car... the round bars were aftermarket additions, the square tubing is what Dad custom cut for the car!
Dad even beefed up the front frame sections... the part that comes off the unibody chassis deal.
