1985 MR2, 5 speed 108k miles, sunroof, factory non-spoiler car. Runs great, smooth and quiet but smokes (we're thinking valve seals, but haven't really messed with this car... we keep getting distracted by too many other projects. New shocks up front and several other things done recently, also replaced starter with a good working one. With a little work this could definitely be put back on the road. This is now for sale, I do NOT have a front lip for the car, otherwise it is a good project... body isn't perfect, interior needs some TLC but I have a lot of good interior parts I might can work into a deal. If you take the car I'll make some good prices on parts! I'd love to keep this one for me, but I don't want to leave it parked waiting... someone could get this thing back on the road fairly quickly we think. Paint very faded, some rear fender rust but definitely fixable and not terrible or holey. Did I mention this motor runs super smooth and quiet (quieter and smoother than I think any 4age I've heard actually) and the car only has 108k? Due to the great running lower miles motor I need $500 out of this... previous owner bought it for $600, put new struts on it, drove it a few weeks, then the starter went out and he gave up on it. It didn't deserve it!! Anybody out there that wants to give this car a chance please contact me! With a battery the car has been starting up and running fine... haven't cranked it in a few months, but will try to fire it up this week to let it run some.
