1985 MR2 Update 11
So things have been moving right along... we hit a few snags with reassembly (wire harness placement... had to pull the intake off 3 times to get all the top bolts in and harness in the correct location... directly in front of said bolts). Here is the timing belt on...
Here we've buttoned up the front end...
Transmission bolted up... actually even without a pilot bushing (not a Toyota item, they may have had a special tool back in the day for this) the transmission went on with NO issues... lined up super well and Dad eyeballed the clutch location.
And a better angle... with almost all the hoses and lines attached...
