1988 Supercharged
This is a motor swapped car, was originally non-supercharged 88 sunroof chassis with 240k plus miles on the chassis, but the body was clean with no issues and no rust at all. NC chassis, spent time in Florida where it had a low mileage Supercharged motor swapped in. The car is just waiting for paint and it needs new gaskets and seals all-around in the motor (front crank and rear main are both leaking now... previous owner didn't replace the 18 year old gaskets when he swapped motors, so guess who gets to now?!?).

I'm running some 1991 vintage Volk GR-C 16x7's up front and 16x8's in the rear. Spacer in the back to get enough clearance for the brakes, but just a few mm spacer. Longer wheel studs on the rear because of the spacers. The car boosts 14.5 lbs according to the gauge, and the car absolutely flies. It has a grunt box to help with low RPM fuel leanout, 7 inch SPAL fan under the stock intercooler, NST pulley kit, ABV mod, Eibach springs, Tokico HP shocks, clutch pressure plate and flywheel with throw out bearing from Illegal Garage, Jon O shift kit and RSE drop plate with 93 shift lever and solid shifter bushings, Prothane bushings, tie rods, new stock OEM muffler, Buddy Club front lip and euro style front corner light covers. I'm sure I've missed a few things but that is most of it.

You can see I installed a quick release steering wheel (laying on roof) as well... cheapest security system money can buy. Can't steal it if you can't steer it!

Shot of it at the 4th of July regional meet we host. Had to get a shot before anyone parked beside me :).

And last but not least... my "bulge pipe" replacement mod. The coupler rubber pipes that hook up the charge pipe, intercooler, supercharger, and intake all bulge when under pressure as you punch the throttle. This expansion causes slight throttle lag and a disturbance in the airflow. These stock couplers were holding back a full lb of boost on my setup. Went from 13.5 lbs boost to 14.5 lbs with $12 in radiator hose cut to fit. I wanted dark and subtle rather than bright silicone replacements and this was an experiment so I wanted to test it at a cost anyone could afford to try. Works AMAZING, best $12 spent on the car!! This is a shot of the replaced 3 upper couplers (4th is off the supercharger to charge pipe).
