We specialize in the first generation MR2 (1985-1989US production) used parts, custom parts and we also work on them in our shop located in Mineral Springs, North Carolina just southeast of Charlotte. I am an MR2 and sports car enthusiast and I've had Corvettes, Mustangs, and all sorts of cars over the years and I've fallen in love with the early MR2. The car pictured above is one of my own MR2's with custom side scoops and a custom rear decklid. I have several first generation cars, including both modified supercharged and lightly modified naturally aspirated engines. I'm also working on finishing up my 1965 Mustang fastback restomod project. My father was a design engineer and we collaborated and designed the custom side scoops and decklid and he did the paintjob and installed both items on the car above as well as drew up the blueprints for the production parts. He did many custom builds and complete restorations on classics and 60's-70's Muscle cars, but has took some time off before passing away in mid 2011. My father also owned an 88 Supercharged car and a black 91 5 speed N/A (we still have the 91). I hope to get a batch of the custom parts Dad designed and that I can make these available in the near future. I need to get another set of scoops fabricated and then fitted (must get the correct radius for fitment to the side of the car) so I can get the specs right for the order. I try to pick up occasional parts cars and rebuildable project MR2's, and go through the cars before I offer them up for sale. I try to be honest about the condition of any parts or vehicles I offer for sale, and I'll offer pictures of all parts and cars that are for sale here. I've owned and currently own a few other old Toyotas so don't be surprised to see a Supra, Celica, Land Cruiser, 4 Runner or other models offered for sale here as well. Three 85-89 MR2's in-stock in the back right now... two will definitely be parted out so stay tuned for LOTS of new inventory!! We sold the 85 red sunroof 5 speed to a customer, the 87 silver sunroof 5 speed with blue interior has been stripped and seriously rusty remains crushed, 89 t-top black 5 speed with black interior Is still in stock and partially stripped. JUST IN August 7th 2010 - 88 two-tone grey/silver parts car I stripped in less than a week after arrival but still have many of those parts in stock now, also have an 87 t-top faded red mostly complete car, and an what I was told was an 86 but which appears to be an 87 red faded parts car with partial engine and stripped interior.

Project Cars!
I also rebuild and repair first generation MR2's. As I finish up project cars I'll be listing them for sale. Most will be mainly stock, but some may have some upgrades and I'll make sure to highlight any modifications, improvements, or changes to the cars. I'm currently (slowly lately here) rebuilding a white 1986 hardtop ex-race car that I'm returning to street trim. I'll have detailed word documents of most all work done and will keep receipts for most new items purchased. Stay tuned for the 86 and others to be offered for sale soon!

Custom Backyard MR2 Parts
We have also produced a few custom parts also and after getting requests to offer these parts for sale, we're taking steps to get these items into small-batch production. These items will only be available as we're able to produce them and will be limited quantity items. Some of these custom items require body work skills, and items that require such will be accompanied by detailed installation instructions and hopefully we can knock out a video on computer CD-ROM of the installation process on anything that is complicated or requires welding or custom fitting. I already have all the necessary items to do the Video and CD-ROMs.
