1985 MR2 Update 10
So Mike came by late Sunday and we made some progress on the motor... turns out my hunch about 87 Supra 7mge motors having the same buckets and shims as the 4age was right... go figure! Lucked out because I had no 4age shims sitting around or even any spare buckets (not that we needed the buckets, but I have spare heads with no buckets and shims).
And so the 87 motor we had that the guy said the timing belt was gone in it... yeah well we started to pull the front cover off and found this... about 15 teeth or so missing on the belt, so no wonder this motor didn't have any compression!!
Back to the 85... we got a few things put on/in since Mike was over on Sunday too...
